Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Southern California from 2001 to 2003, obtaining a Master's degree in Building Science.

In 2015, they became an Autodesk Revit Architecture 2016 Certified Professional. Later, in 2019, Gautam received the Designated Design-Build Professional Certification from DBIA Western Pacific Region.
