Vera Jimenez - Certified Meterologist

Vera Jimenez is a Certified Meteorologist with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as a Senior Meteorologist at KTLA since January 2010, where Vera has played a significant role in keeping Southern Californians informed. In addition to meteorology, Vera Jimenez engages in various entrepreneurial activities, including being a Healthy Living Advocate and an Ecommerce Business Owner since 2019, where the focus is on mentoring individuals in business and promoting healthy habits. Vera Jimenez also has a background in real estate investment, having expanded a property portfolio from 2016 to 2019, and previously owned a fast-casual seafood restaurant, Hermosa Beach Fish Shop, from 2014 to 2019. Vera Jimenez holds a certification in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Mississippi State University, completed in 2010.
