Jaime Areias Franco

Jaime Areias Franco is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in DevOps and CI/CD practices. Currently serving as a Senior DevOps Systems Engineer and Team Lead at Kuehne+Nagel since July 2021, Jaime focuses on optimizing deployment processes and automating code lifecycle support within the Real-Time GeoSystems team. Prior roles include SRE CI/CD at Talkdesk, where Jaime contributed to engineering productivity and the enhancement of automated testing tools, and DevOps Engineer at Prozis, managing CI/CD processes and monitoring systems using a range of technologies including Ansible, GitLab, and Docker. Additionally, Jaime spent nearly 14 years at Glintt, rising from an Analyst/Programmer to Lead Release Engineer, where responsibilities included improving CI/CD pipelines and collaborating across teams to ensure seamless software deployment. Jaime holds a degree in Computer Science from Universidade do Porto.
