Yahu A. Liu

Yahu A. Liu has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Yahu A. is currently serving as the Senior Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Kura Oncology, Inc., where they are involved in the development of precision medicines for the treatment of cancer. Prior to their current role, Yahu held positions at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) as a Senior Outsourcing Manager/Principal Scientist, ChemBridge Research Laboratories as a Senior Scientist, Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation as a Research Fellow, and Pfizer as a Postdoctoral Scientist. Throughout their career, Yahu has played a key role in the development and advancement of numerous drug candidates and has contributed to the acquisition of multiple patents.

Yahu A. Liu obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Bioorganic Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University. This educational journey took place from 1996 to 2000, under the guidance of Prof. Lawrence M. Sayre.
