The KVMO stands up for the interests of naval officers.

The Royal Association of Naval Officers has existed since 1883 and has included 3 objectives in its statutes: a good relationship with Dutch society; the maintenance of a naval force suited to its task;
good collective and individual representation of the interests of its members.

They strive to achieve the first objective by providing clear information and expressions of opinion in the Marineblad, on their website and via social media, including twitter and facebook. 

But the KVMO is more than just an interest group; it organizes various activities on a variety of subjects and assists members with sound legal advice in the field of working conditions.
