Gavin McMullan has a diverse work experience starting in 2012 as a Software Engineer at First Derivatives. Gavin then pursued a BSc Honours degree in Computer Science from Queens University Belfast from 2010 to 2014. After completing their degree, they returned to First Derivatives in 2014 and held various roles as a Java Developer, Systems Integration Engineer/Application Manager, and Release Technical Analyst. In 2019, Gavin joined KX as a DevOps Engineer and later was promoted to Senior DevOps Engineer in 2022.
Gavin McMullan attended Queen's University Belfast from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. This program was a 4-year sandwich course. In 2015, Gavin obtained the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer certification from Oracle. In 2017, they also achieved the SAFe 4.0 Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
