Chethana Kahandugoda serves as the Chief Information Officer and Senior Deputy General Manager at LB Finance PLC, leading a dynamic team of over 150 technology professionals, and has played a pivotal role in implementing ISO 27001:2022 security standards since 2014. Currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer at Multi Finance PLC and is a member of the Steering Committee for the Financial Sector Computer Security Incident Response Team (FinCSIRT) under the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Additionally, Chethana chairs the CIO Forum for the Finance Houses Association of Sri Lanka and has previously managed IT projects at Commercial Leasing Company Limited and led software development at Golden Key Software Solutions Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences from the University of Colombo, along with a diploma in Computer System Design from the National Institute of Business Management.
