Eduardo Velasco joined L Catterton Europe in 2004 as an Investment Manager and was promoted to Partner in 2009.

Mr. Velasco began his career in Mexico. In 1996, following an experience in audit and consulting services, he founded and managed a financial services consulting firm advising companies in various industry sectors (telecoms, civil engineering, consumer services, apparel and retail) to manage financial and operational challenges and opportunities. In 2001, Mr. Velasco joined Andersen Corporate Finance in France (merged into Ernst & Young) where he led Due Diligence, M&A and Restructuring projects for international corporate clients and private equity firms, in various sectors across Europe, including transactions as Vivendi Universal Publishing, Vivarte, Degussa, LPR, etc. In 2003, Eduardo joined Deloitte Corporate Finance, as Senior Consultant in the Transaction Services team, where he led several projects, including the acquisition of SNET by ENDESA.

Mr. Velasco holds a Finance Degree from University of Guadalajara - Mexico, a Master Degree in Financial Engineering from ITESO – Mexico, and an International Management Degree from HEC – France.
