Jake Derector

Jake Derector has extensive experience in merchandising, currently serving as a Senior Merchant for Men's Apparel at L.L.Bean since August 2018, where responsibilities have included various merchandising roles across multiple product lines. Prior to L.L.Bean, Jake held several positions at Under Armour from August 2014 to August 2018, including Associate Merchant for Men's Training and Global Merchandising, with a focus on diverse categories and Japan. Jake's early career includes roles as Coordinator of International Relations at Tsugaru City Hall and Assistant Language Teacher at the Ishinomaki Board of Education. Jake holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Languages and Cultures, with a minor in Economics, from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, graduated Cum Laude.
