Richard Fortier

Richard Fortier is an experienced wellness and program management professional with a strong background in health promotion and project coordination. Currently serving as the Wellness Program Coordinator at L.L.Bean since December 2014, Richard is responsible for planning, implementing, and administering wellness initiatives. Prior experience includes working as a Program Manager at Maine Medical Center, where responsibilities encompassed project management, marketing, budget management, and public speaking. Richard also held the position of Health Promotion Specialist at the City of Portland's Public Health Division, focusing on youth programming and worksite wellness. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Prevention Educator at Advocates for Children of Lewiston Maine, managing a Parent Resource Center and providing training and education on prevention. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education from the University of Maine at Farmington.
