Augie Staton

Augie Staton is an experienced professional in the food science industry, currently serving as R&D Manager at La Tortilla Factory since January 2013. Prior to this role, Augie held the position of R&D Director at Hain Celestial Group from January 2005 to January 2013 and worked as R&D Project Manager at Nestle/Powerbar from September 1999 to January 2005. Augie's career began at Vacu-Dry Company as a Sr. Food Scientist from March 1996 to September 1999, following a role as Product Development Scientist at Dole Food Company from July 1993 to December 1995, and earlier experience as R&D Technologist at Nestle from March 1991 to June 1993. Augie holds a Master's degree in Food Science and a Bachelor's degree in Food Biochemistry, both from the University of California, Davis.
