Michael Bak

Michael Bak is a highly experienced executive and entrepreneur with a diverse background in investment, innovation, and startup ecosystems. As the Founder and CEO of Nexus Ventures since 2012, Michael has focused on direct and indirect investments. Currently serving as an Executive Advisor at Lab08 since May 2025, responsibilities include go-to-market strategies and investor relations. Michael's extensive expertise is further demonstrated through various roles, including Head of Investor Relations at TechBBQ, Partner at LongPlay, and Managing Director at both Rainmaking at Pier47 and #CPHFTW. Michael has also contributed as a guest lecturer at several prestigious universities and held advisory positions with major companies, emphasizing external innovation and corporate strategy. Michael holds a Master's degree in Strategic Communication from Aalborg University and has been instrumental in shaping the startup landscape in Denmark and the Nordic region.
