Aijun Li has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Aijun started their career at AT&T in 2002 as a Senior Software Consultant, where they developed a Java and Oracle database-based IP service provisioning system. Aijun then moved on to Keane Inc in 2004, working as a Senior Software Consultant for Morgan Stanley on a treasury trade completion system. In 2006, they joined Morgan Stanley directly as a Software Engineer, working on the design and development of a homegrown enterprise monitoring system. Aijun Li continued their software engineering career at Lab49 in 2018. As of 2021, they are currently self-employed and enjoying retirement.
Aijun Li completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry at Ocean University of China from 1978 to 1982. After that, from 1982 to 1985, Aijun Li pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemistry at Peking University. Later, from 1987 to 1993, Aijun Li obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Washington.
