Isaac Gremmer, Director of IT, first worked with Labatt as a high school intern in 2001 and wrote the voice order selection software still used today. As a Caltech undergraduate, he was software team lead on a team that created a self-driving car for the Darpa grand challenge. After graduation, he worked for the start-up Evolution Robotics Retail, later acquired by Datalogic, on automated self-checkout systems and store replenishment systems using computer vision. Since rejoining Labatt in 2016 he has managed major system designs such as the migration of legacy code to cloud-based proprietary software ("Labretto").
