Sevan Simonian is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in benefits analysis and retirement services. Currently serving as a Senior Benefits Analyst at LACERS since February 2023, Sevan has previously held roles at LACERA, including Retirement Benefits Specialist and Senior Retirement Benefit Specialist, from July 2011 to the present. Prior experience includes office operations management at the US Census Bureau from 2009 to 2010 and leadership positions at CVS Caremark Corporation as Store Manager and Target as Executive Team Leader - Operations from 2003 to 2009. Sevan holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge, earned between 2001 and 2003.

The Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA) provides retirement, disability, and death benefits to eligible County employees and their beneficiaries. We collect, deposit, invest, and manage retirement funds collected from the County, outside agencies and districts, and County employees.
