Jon Birchall has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Jon is currently the Director of Editorial Strategy at LADbible Group since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Reach plc as the Audience and Content Director - Future Audiences from January 2022 to April 2022, and as the Audience and Content Director (Sport) from July 2020 to January 2022. Before Reach plc, they had roles at Trinity Mirror plc as the Head of Digital Sport (Regionals) from March 2016 to July 2020, and as the Sport Editor - Digital Innovation from May 2015 to March 2016. Jon previously worked at Manchester United as a Media Content Planner from May 2014 to May 2015, and at Goal.com as the Deputy Editor from April 2012 to May 2014, and as the Assistant Editor from November 2011 to April 2012. Jon also had a brief role at FIFA in 2010 as CMS Management from June 2010 to July 2010.

Jon Birchall completed the Cranfield Talent Development Programme at Cranfield School of Management in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a First Class Honours BA degree in International Journalism from Liverpool John Moores University, where they studied from 2008 to 2011.
