Haoran Liu

Haoran Liu, PhD, is a skilled data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and data operations. Currently serving as an L5 Data Scientist at Ladder since December 2024, Haoran previously worked as a Senior Data Scientist as an Independent Contractor, specializing in fine-tuning AI models for medical applications. Prior experience at Pathr.ai included leading the Data Operations team, developing analytics product strategies, and managing product development. Haoran has also contributed to Insight Data Science as a Data Scientist Fellow, where significant projects involved predicting flood risks and applying computer vision techniques. Education includes a PhD in Geophysics and Oceanography and a Master of Science in Applied Statistics, both from Louisiana State University.
