Amy Morrison, Ed.D. serves as the President of Lake Washington Institute of Technology since July 2013, leading Washington state's only public institute of technology, which offers a wide range of academic programs in STEM and other fields. Previously, Amy held the role of Vice President for Operations and College Relations at Clover Park Technical College from March 2004 to June 2013, where responsibilities included ensuring a supportive educational environment and acting as spokesperson during the President's absence. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Development and Government Relations at Bates Technical College and as Deputy District Director for Congressman Norm Dicks, focusing on higher education and workforce training issues. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a Master's degree in Public Administration from The Evergreen State College, a Bachelor's degree in History from Mills College, and a certification as a Health and Wellness Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
