Ross Newhook

Ross Newhook is an experienced educator and career consultant, currently serving as the Co-Founder of Lighthouse Career Solutions since March 2021, providing virtual career solutions to students and graduates. Newhook has held various influential roles in educational settings, including Instructor and Curriculum Author at Lakehead University since September 2013, and Guidance Counsellor positions at both the Peel District School Board and Bayview Glenn Independent School from 2001 to 2020, supporting students in course selection, career planning, and mental health. With a strong foundation in psychology and education, Newhook earned a Master’s of Education in Educational Psychology from Memorial University and a Bachelor of Education from the same institution, complemented by additional qualifications from the University of Alberta and Queen's University.
