Peter Dienes

Peter Dienes currently serves as a Staff ML Engineer/TLM at Lakera, where Peter leads the AI team responsible for Lakera Guard. Prior to this, Peter held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Agrinorm, focusing on a diverse range of tasks including machine learning for produce shelf-life prediction and infrastructure redesign. As a Co-Founder of innovite.ch, Peter co-developed end-to-end MVPs and created on-device search technology. Peter's extensive experience at Google spanned from Senior Staff Software Engineer to Manager, where responsibilities included leading cross-functional teams for various projects, career coaching for engineers, and contributing to significant developments in search ads and maps navigation. Peter started the professional journey as a Language Specialist at SYSTRAN and as a High School Mathematics Teacher, holding multiple degrees including a PhD in Statistical Natural Language Processing.
