Arni Blondal

Arni Blondal is a Icelandic-American business executive and entrepreneur who has over 20 years of experience in the corporate finance and investment industries. Arni is currently a board member at Laki Power, a renewable energy company. Arni also serves on the boards of Ghostlamp, Oculis S.A., and DTE.

Blondal was the founder and managing partner of Moneta, a corporate finance advisory firm, from 2010 to 2013. Arni then served as the director of corporate finance at Askar Capital from 2009 to 2010. Before that, they were the managing director of Uppspretta Venture Capital SA at Kaupthing Bank from 2001 to 2006.

In 1999, Blondal founded bepaid.com, an online payments company, and served as its managing director in the UK until 2001. Arni has also worked as a consultant for various companies and organizations, including Brunnur Ventures and LBI hf.

Arni Blondal completed a Cand. Scient. in Mechanical Engineering from Háskóli Íslands before earning an M.Sc. in Information Technology from DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
