Kyle Nelson

Kyle Nelson currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Development at Lamar University Athletics, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this, Kyle was associated with The Aspire Group as a Manager and Assistant Manager in Sales and Service, overseeing the ticket sales department. Kyle’s earlier experience includes roles as an Annual Fund Consultant with World Outreach Ministries, and as a Sector Missionary with Overland Missions, focusing on outreach and evangelism. Additionally, Kyle has held various positions within athletic departments, including Director of Intramurals at Southeastern University and Assistant Athletic Director at Highland Park Sports. Educationally, Kyle is pursuing a Master of Arts in Sport Nutrition at Lamar University and a Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, complementing a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management from Southeastern University.
