Norman Bellard

Norman Bellard has extensive experience in higher education administration, currently serving as the Assistant to the President for Community Relations and Athletic Programs Liaison at Lamar University since July 2000. In this role, Norman coordinates the university's Community Outreach program and supports athletic programs through marketing and community relations, particularly in the Golden Triangle and greater Houston area. Norman also held various leadership positions within the Student Affairs division, including Senior Associate Vice President, Associate Vice President, and Assistant Vice President, managing comprehensive student life programs. Prior to their tenure at Lamar University, Norman worked at Primerica as a Regional Vice President and held financial leadership roles at Conn's HomePlus and Georgetown Steel Corp, beginning their career as an Auditor at Deloitte Haskins & Sells. Norman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Lamar University.
