Johnny Russo has extensive work experience in the field of digital marketing and e-commerce. Johnny began their career at Ryma Technology Solutions as a Marketing Communications Specialist, where they launched website redesigns and managed social media platforms. Johnny then moved on to Neuralitic Systems as a Marketing Communications Manager, where they devised marketing communications plans and oversaw website launches.

At Buffalo David Bitton, Johnny served as an E-commerce and Web Marketing Manager, overseeing the successful launch of a new website and implementing customer acquisition and retention strategies. Johnny later joined Mexx Canada Company as a Director of E-commerce and Digital Marketing, driving significant sales growth and optimizing conversion rates.

Johnny's career continued at Bentley Leathers Inc. as a Director of E-commerce and Digital Marketing, where they developed an omnichannel strategy and achieved significant traffic and sales growth. Johnny then worked at Mark's (Mark's Work Wearhouse) as an Associate Vice-President of E-commerce and Digital Marketing, where they led the growth of the company's e-commerce sales and managed various digital marketing initiatives.

At The Kersheh Group, Johnny served as the Vice President of Marketing & E-commerce, overseeing the establishment of a new direct-to-consumer and e-commerce division. Johnny successfully launched multiple house brands and grew e-commerce sales on proprietary sites and marketplaces.

Johnny also held the position of Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at both MLG Brands and Lamour. In these roles, they led digital and e-commerce growth for various brands, developed strategic plans for brand growth and expansion, and launched new online platforms and brands.

Additionally, Johnny has served as a Board Member and Investor at INVICTA Commerce Ventures.

Throughout their career, Johnny has consistently demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and a strong track record of driving sales growth and optimizing digital marketing efforts.

Johnny Russo has a diverse education history. In 1998, they obtained a DEC degree in Communications: Art, Media, Theatre from Vanier College. Following that, they pursued a BA degree with a specialization in Journalism from Concordia University, which they completed in 2003.

In 2012, Johnny obtained a certificate in Web Marketing & E-business from the University of Toronto. Later, in 2018, they attended Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, where they obtained a certificate in Driving Growth With Retail Analytics.

Additionally, Johnny has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2014, they obtained an Inbound Certification from HubSpot. In 2017, they achieved a Google Analytics Certification from Google. Johnny also received a Google Ads Search Certification from Google in 2020. Similarly, they obtained a Facebook Blueprint Certification as a Digital Marketing Associate from Facebook in the same year. Further adding to their expertise, Johnny acquired a WSET, Level 1 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2020.
