Becky Gordon

Becky Gordon has been the Head of Research Quality and Policy at Lancaster University since October 2004, where responsibilities include overseeing multiple teams within the Research and Enterprise Services division and influencing strategic direction. Prior roles include Deputy Head of Research Services, managing research administration processes, and Research Support and Systems Manager, where coordination of economic costing and governance of research projects was crucial. Additional experience includes positions such as Operations Manager and Business Partnerships Officer, facilitating collaborations between academia and industry. Becky has also played a role in the creative sector as a Project Manager within the Creative Industries Unit and serves as an Internal Coach for staff development. As an instructor at Ellison's Taekwondo, teaching at the university and formerly running a martial arts school, Becky blends academic and athletic endeavors. Educational qualifications include an MA in Applied Research and Consultancy, a Postgraduate degree in Coaching and Mentoring, and a BBA in Management, all from Lancaster University.
