Samuel Owusu

Samuel Owusu is a Student Software Engineer at Lancaster University since October 2022, concurrently serving as an App Developer for Book Tracker, Bus Tracking App, and the Bolt Clone App. In the role at Book Tracker, Samuel led the creation of an advanced book tracking application, utilizing Python and MySQL for backend operations, while focusing on UI/UX design through Figma. For the Bus Tracking App, Samuel developed a live tracking solution employing Java, MySQL, and React Native to improve user commuting experiences. The Bolt Clone App project demonstrated Samuel's ability to replicate complex functionalities using Java and MySQL. Additionally, as a Full Stack Developer at The Convergence, Samuel is further honing technical skills while pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering at Lancaster University, following a BTEC in Computer Science from Newham Sixth Form College.
