Tania Baumann

Tania Baumann is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operational and strategic leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at the World Energy Council since January 2016, Tania also holds positions as an Advisory Board Member for EMEA at PCMA, and as a Lay Member of the University Council at Lancaster University since November 2023. Tania's background includes significant roles such as Head of Secretariat at Nominet and Director/Secretary General at the International Chamber of Commerce, UK. Tania's professional journey began in trade advisory positions at the Queensland Department of Primary Industries, complemented by consulting roles and board membership at Australian Business Limited. Tania holds a Master’s degree in International Commercial Law from Deakin University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Griffith University.
