Teshnee Naidoo is a Senior Medical Technician in the Molecular department at Lancet Laboratories since May 2018, specializing in processing viral loads for HIV positive patients, HPV, and SARS-CoV-2. Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa, Teshnee is experienced with advanced laboratory equipment such as the Sysmex XN 2000 and Cobas systems. Prior to this role, Teshnee served as a Lab Assistant at Lab24 from April 2017 to April 2018, where responsibilities included data capturing, patient interactions, and performing chemistry and biochemistry tests using Roche instruments. Teshnee began their career in 2015 as a Bursary Administrator at the Southern African Clothing and Textiles Workers Union, managing bursary applications and communication with students. Teshnee holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, completed in 2014.

ACCREDITATION To deliver consistent quality at every level of our business, Lancet Laboratories’ Quality Assurance team works hard to achieve and maintain SANAS accreditation throughout its structure, adhering to the highest international criteria set out according to ISO Standard 15189. The Quality Assurance department is responsible for ensuring that the Quality Management System (QMS) is implemented and maintained in all laboratories and departments within Lancet Labs. Our objectives are to attain accreditation to ISO 15189 for laboratories and certification to ISO 9001 for all support departments.
