Elizabeth Ward has a strong background in marketing and communications, with extensive experience in various roles. Elizabeth is currently serving as the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Land Trust Alliance since March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Communications at the same organization from April 2016. From January 2014 to April 2016, they worked as the Director of Communications at Land Trust Alliance.
Before joining Land Trust Alliance, Elizabeth held positions at The Nature Conservancy, where they served as the Director of Global Content and Editorial Strategy from May 2012 to December 2013. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Marketing Communications at The Nature Conservancy from an unknown start date to May 2012.
Elizabeth also gained valuable experience at AOL as the Executive Director of Research & Learn from an unknown start date to 2003. Additionally, they worked at Time-Life Books as the Director of New Product Development from 1986 to 2000. Elizabeth began their career at St. Martin's Press as an Associate Editor from December 1983 to May 1988.
Elizabeth Ward attended Bethesda Chevy-Chase High School for an unspecified period of time. Following their time at high school, they went on to Wellesley College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in American Studies.
