Robert Delong

Robert DeLong is a seasoned professional in the fields of biochemistry and biophysics, currently serving as Senior Scientific Director and Director of mRNA technologies at Landmark Bio since November 2022. Prior to this role, DeLong spent eight years at Kansas State University leading a research group focused on RNA and nanoparticle delivery, anticancer, antiviral, and immunological effects, while securing multiple grant funding as a principal investigator. DeLong's academic career includes positions at Missouri State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where significant contributions were made in cancer research and gene therapy development. Education includes a PhD from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and studies in RNA and DNA delivery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
