Landscape Architecture Foundation
Heather Whitlow serves as the Senior Director of Programs and Communications at the Landscape Architecture Foundation since January 2010. In this role, Heather has overseen significant programmatic growth, developed the Landscape Performance Series, and managed strategic communications. Prior to this position, Heather was the Director of Planning & Design at Casey Trees, where responsibilities included program development and partnerships with various stakeholders. Earlier experiences include teaching English as a volunteer and working as a Community Planner, alongside a solid educational background with a Master’s degree in Community Planning and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Engineering and Chemistry.
