Michael Dabrieo serves as the Vice President of Program and Learning at LANL Foundation since August 2019, where responsibilities include leading the development of educational programming from prenatal stages through to career support, enhancing educational opportunities for families, students, and educators in Northern New Mexico. Prior to this role, Michael co-founded KHA'P'O Community School, focusing on dual-language education for over 130 students, and served as the Education Enrichment Director in a non-profit organization, where oversight included K-12 programming and grants. Additional experience includes being a NACA Inspired Schools Network Fellow and working as a Program Coordinator and Teacher within educational settings. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Education Administration from the University of Houston and a Master of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Since 1997, the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Española, has worked to inspire excellence in education and learning in Northern New Mexico through innovative programming, collaboration and advocacy. By investing in human potential, the Foundation’s vision is that all New Mexicans have the skills and confidence they need to be self-sufficient, lifelong learners who are engaged in their communities. Programs in early childhood, STEM inquiry education, scholarships and small grants serve Northern New Mexico communities primarily in Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe and Taos counties.
