Lead Software Engineer

We’re looking for an exceptional software engineer to join us as one of our first 3 hires. We’re looking for a hands-on, product-minded engineer who can build across the tech stack. You’ll be an owner. Compensation includes meaningful equity (in addition to a competitive salary). Accordingly, you’ll have the autonomy to make important technical & product decisions independently. You’ll be a leader. Backed by word class investors, we’re scaling fast. As our team grows, so will your responsibility. You’ll be expected to hire and manage a team in the near future. This job is not for everyone. We’re to win and there’s no substitute for hard work. The hours are long and the work week goes through Saturday, but we strictly honor that Sunday is a day off for everyone to unwind.

What We Need Your Help With Build: Improve existing products, build new features, and create new products from the ground up Ship: Manage version control, review code, test code, and deploy updates Lead: Contribute to the hiring/interview process, manage a team of talented developers Think Big: Design new features, define product roadmaps, and influence our long term strategy

What We Look For

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• 4+ years of experience as a full stack engineer
• You've held at least 1 Lead/Senior Engineer role
• Experience with UX design and/or product management
• Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, React
• Backend: Node.js OR Django, PostgreSQL, Cloud Infrastructure
• Other: GraphQL, ElasticSearch, Kubernetes
