Lekilay Tehmeh

Lekilay Tehmeh serves as the Senior Director of Service Delivery at Last Mile Health, overseeing health service delivery projects in Liberia, including the National Community Health Assistant Program and various clinical innovation projects. With a focus on maternal, child, and neonatal health, Lekilay provides technical oversight and adaptive management to enhance health outcomes in remote communities. Previous roles include Clinical Coordinator for Patient Safety & Healthcare Quality at the Ministry of Health and Medical & Research Coordinator at the Liberia Medical & Dental Council, where Lekilay managed compliance with clinical standards and supervised healthcare facility accreditation programs. Lekilay's medical experience also includes working as a Medical Officer at James Davies Jr. Memorial Maternal & Child Care Hospital and volunteering at Refuge Place Maternal, Child & General Clinic. Educational qualifications include a Master of Applied Science in Patient Safety & Healthcare Quality from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, a Doctor of Medicine from A. M. Dogliotti College of Medicine, and a Bachelor's Degree in General Biology from Cuttington University.
