Steven Shumsky is a co-founder of reOrbital since June 2023, following their role as Satellite Chief Engineer and Space Architecture Systems Engineer at Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, from June 2019 to September 2023. Prior to that, Steven worked at Lockheed Martin from July 2014 to June 2019 in various engineering capacities, including Senior Engineer in Manufacturing Technology, RF Test Engineer, and roles within the NASA Orion Program. Steven began their career as a Co-Op Flight Controller for NASA's Van Allen Probes at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in 2012. Steven holds a Master of Science in Space Systems Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
