Andrés Palencia

Andrés Palencia has a diverse and extensive work experience in the media industry. Andrés started their career in 2007, working in various roles for different companies. In 2016, Palencia joined LATV as a Social Media Content Senior Producer, where they adapted and edited existing episodes for digital distribution and created promotional micro-content campaigns. Andrés later became the Branded Content Creative Producer/Writer, leading the creation of LATV's comprehensive tentpole content strategy and generating branded campaign activations for top-tier brands. Palencia also served as the Showrunner/Executive Producer/Writer for the daily music and pop-culture talk show "THE ZOO" and the weekly show "ELZ." Prior to their tenure at LATV, Palencia worked for various companies such as NUVOtv, American Latino TV, SiTV, and LATV Network, where they held positions as a writer, producer, showrunner, and host. Throughout their career, Palencia has been involved in creating, managing, and producing content that highlights the Latinx community.

Andrés Palencia completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies and Mathematics at California State University, Northridge from 2002 to 2007.
