Aleksejs Zilcovs has extensive experience in the fields of data processing, air navigation systems, and IT consulting. Currently serving as a Data Processing Specialist at Latvijas Gaisa Satiksme since September 2006, Aleksejs specializes in the ATRACC system for air traffic control. Previous roles include Navigation Engineer, responsible for the maintenance and installation of air navigation systems, and IT Consultant at JD Consulting, focusing on marketing requirements and SEO. Aleksejs has also held managerial positions in software development and telecommunications while gaining experience as a Debt Recovery Manager. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte and various certifications in software testing, web development, and Agile methodologies.

The main goal of the State Joint Stock Company Latvijas Gaisa Satiksme (LGS) is to provide the users with the optimum Air Navigation Services in Riga Flight Information region (FIR). LGS product is air navigation services. The main revenue source for LGS are air navigation charges collected for the rendered service and there is no financing from the State budget. Moreover, LGS is one of the largest tax payers in Latvia.
