Jurijs Vasiljevs is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical and electronics engineering, currently serving as a Senior Radar System Engineer at Latvijas Gaisa Satiksme since 2017, specializing in Air Traffic Safety Electronic Personnel. Prior to this role, Vasiljevs held positions including Technology Expert at Citrus Solutions SIA from January 2012 to February 2017, and Industrial Electrician at Spmarble and AGV Tehnika between 2010 and 2009. The main goal of the State Joint Stock Company Latvijas Gaisa Satiksme (LGS) is to provide the users with the optimum Air Navigation Services in Riga Flight Information region (FIR). LGS product is air navigation services. The main revenue source for LGS are air navigation charges collected for the rendered service and there is no financing from the State budget. Moreover, LGS is one of the largest tax payers in Latvia.
