Latvijas Gaisa Satiksme
Sergejs Z. is an experienced air traffic controller currently employed at Latvijas Gaisa Satiksme since April 2017, specializing as an en-route ATCO with responsibilities as an OJTI/STDI. Concurrently, Sergejs Z. serves as the Head of ATC training at the Riga Aeronautical Institute, focusing on management of flight safety, training quality, and compliance with regulations. Prior to these roles, Sergejs Z. worked as a Flight Dispatcher at Flight Consulting Group from March 2016 to April 2017, providing solutions for various flight support services. Educationally, Sergejs Z. holds a Master's degree in Transport Operations Enterprise Management and a Bachelor's degree in Air Traffic Controller Engineering, both from the Riga Aeronautical Institute.
Latvijas Gaisa Satiksme
The main goal of the State Joint Stock Company Latvijas Gaisa Satiksme (LGS) is to provide the users with the optimum Air Navigation Services in Riga Flight Information region (FIR). LGS product is air navigation services. The main revenue source for LGS are air navigation charges collected for the rendered service and there is no financing from the State budget. Moreover, LGS is one of the largest tax payers in Latvia.
