Andrew Macdonald is currently the Director of Offshore Wind Development and Operations at Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult (ORE Catapult). Prior to their current role, Andrew served as the Senior Innovation Manager at Offshore Wind Growth Partnership where Andrew was the Programme Director. Andrew also worked as the Tidal Energy Project Officer at Islay Energy Trust and Manager at Ionad Chaluim Chille Ìle. With a background in engineering, Andrew has held various managerial and consulting positions at companies such as Scottish Power, Muzicall, Equador Consulting, Nortel Matra, and Northern Telecom BV. Andrew holds a BEng (Hons) degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from The University of Edinburgh.
