Dr. Miriam Schwarz currently serves as the R&D Partnerships Manager at Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, where the focus is on initiating innovation projects related to future energy systems, including hydrogen, to support the growth of the offshore renewable energy sector in the UK. Previously, Dr. Schwarz gained experience as a Patent Attorney Trainee at Hoffmann Eitle Patent- und Rechtsanwälte PartmbB and worked as an IP Valuation Analyst intern at Coller IP. Additional experience includes a role as a Student Researcher at PolyIC GmbH & Co. KG, where innovative semiconducting nano-materials were explored for application in Schottky diodes and thin film transistors. Dr. Schwarz holds a Doktor (Ph.D.) in semiconductor physics from Jacobs University Bremen, a Master of Science in Molecular Science/Nanotechnology from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, and has engaged in research at both Stanford University and Technische Universität Wien.
