David Michon

David Michon has been in the industry since 2009, when they began their career as a Junior Managing Editor at Monocle. In 2014, they moved to Winkreative as a Managing Editor and then in 2015, they were an Editor at Icon magazine, where they increased sales by 20% within the first six months. In 2016, they founded their own company, David Michon Ltd., where they provided brand-building editorial direction and content production to an international list of clients. In 2022, they joined the Launch House LA summer cohort as a Founder in Residence to build For Scale, a peer-to-peer marketplace for used furniture and objects. David is now the Founder of For Scale.

David Michon attended The University of Winnipeg from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a BA in Politics. David then attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2008 to 2009, where they obtained an MSc in Media and Communication.
