Tayaba J. has extensive experience in the beauty and fashion industries, currently serving as the Global Beauty Director at Laura Mercier Cosmetics since April 2003. In this role, Tayaba J. leads the beauty direction for brand campaigns and acts as a brand ambassador for significant fashion and PR events. Previously, as the Director of International Artistry & Education, Tayaba J. developed educational programs to drive international brand growth and collaborated with product development teams. Early career experience includes co-founding and designing for CHY SHY, a niche apparel brand featured in Toronto Fashion Week. Tayaba J. holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Fashion from Ryerson University, completed in 2000.
