Richard Silverwood is an accomplished professional with a solid background in materials characterization and research in the packaging industry. Currently serving as the Director of Lab at Lavergne since July 2021, Richard previously held the position of Research Associate at École Polytechnique de Montréal from November 2009 to August 2021, where responsibilities included leading a project for the development of heat-sealable, resealable packaging in collaboration with Prolamina. Richard's early career features a brief role as an R&D intern at Excel-Pac Inc. in 2011, along with academic positions at École Polytechnique de Montréal and Ville Saint-Laurent. Richard holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, earned in 2010.
