Daniel Lauriola

Daniel Lauriola is a seasoned laser scientist with extensive experience in optical and spectroscopic techniques in challenging environments. Currently at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since April 2024, Lauriola previously held the position of scientist at BaySpec Inc. from October 2021 to March 2024, and served as a research assistant at Purdue University from August 2017 to February 2022. Throughout the career, Lauriola developed multiple laser systems for advanced temperature measurements and innovative spectroscopic techniques for combustion environments. Additional expertise includes optical design for various imaging and fluorescence experiments. Educational qualifications include a PhD from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics and Optical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
