John Lee

John Lee is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in software development, cloud architecture, and cybersecurity. Currently serving as the IT Cloud and AI Applications Lead at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since 2016, John leads teams in developing and managing applications for IT operations. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where John supported the IT infrastructure for a global workforce, and Software Engineer at Raytheon, working on ground system integration for weather satellites. Additional experience encompasses web development for a church management system and software engineering at Mincom, as well as an internship at Avaya. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Colorado State University and two Master’s degrees, one in Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity from Purdue University and another in Information Systems from the University of Colorado Denver. As President of YESNet, John champions community service and STEM outreach initiatives.
