Marcus Carotta is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the CTO of LAYA Solutions at LAYA Group since July 2022, Marcus previously held the position of Senior Executive at Allianz, where responsibilities included heading Platform Delivery for Open Platform/EE from March 2018 to June 2022. Prior to Allianz, Marcus was Vice President of Global Delivery at PAYBACK, part of American Express, from April 2012 to February 2018, and also held multiple Vice President roles focused on Product and Project Services and Product Engineering at PAYBACK between January 2011 and March 2012. Earlier in Marcus's career, leadership as Head of Product Engineering at Loyalty Partner Solutions from August 2001 to December 2010 and experience as an IT Consultant at Capgemini contributed to a robust foundation in technology management. Marcus earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Informatik from Technische Universität Wien between 1992 and 1997.
