James Chang

Chief Business Officer, Lazada Group at Lazada

James Chang is the Chief Business Officer for Lazada Group responsible for the Group's commercial portfolio, including managing strategic accounts, retail, marketing solutions and Lazada supermarket.

Before moving into this Regional role, James was the Chief Executive Officer for Lazada Singapore. He also co-founded Lazada Philippines and served as Managing Director for two years, building the team and growing the business into one of the top eCommerce marketplaces in the country. James also incubated the Group’s Crossborder business as Chief Crossborder Officer, putting even more products within the reach of Southeast Asia’s over 600 million customers.

Prior to Lazada, James was a strategy consultant with Accenture, working in Canada, US and the UK. James graduated from the University of Western Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Finance (Management and Organizational Study) and a Bachelor Business Administration (Hons) from the Ivey School of Business.
