Carol Freeman of Llano is a retired Llano Independent School District educator. She sits on the Board of Directors for the Llano Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, the Texas Farm Bureau, the Hill Country Livestock Raisers Association and Hill Country CattleWomen. Freeman received her bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Texas A&M University. Gov. Greg Abbott appointed her to the Board in May 2021 for a term that expires on Feb. 1, 2027.
