Travis Havins

Travis Havins, P.E. is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Supervisor of Substation Engineering at LCRA since October 2016, with previous roles as Senior Engineer, Engineer, and Engineering Associate II within the same company. Prior to LCRA, Travis worked at Powell Industries from February 2012 to October 2016 as a Production Engineer, utilizing an AutoCAD-based program to create schematics for switchgear manufacturing. Earlier experience includes a summer position as Assistant Hydrogeologist at Thornhill Group, Inc. in 2009 and a role as Assistant Electrician at KST Electric, LTD in 2007. Travis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, earned between 2007 and 2011.
